About Sunshine Beach Private Oasis

Tucked away in a quiet, hidden pocket of Sunshine Beach with no through traffic, this modern four-bedroom air-conditioned home which is laid out over two spacious levels is set amongst private, leafy surrounds and is a mere 350m walk to the white sands of Sunshine Beach via a bird nature reserve.

The front entrance’s feature staircase with glass balustrading leads to the heart of the home; an elevated and breezy open plan living, dining and kitchen area which is bathed in natural light. This area flows seamlessly to a covered outdoor alfresco terrace area with comfortable lounges and BBQ which can be enjoyed year-round.

Overlooking a private, leafy rear yard, the large kitchen with black granite benchtops, gas cooktop, dishwasher and Nespresso style pod coffee machine is fully equipped for holiday makers to prepare meals at home or for those who prefer to dine out, the home is a 600m stroll to the restaurants, cafes and bars of the Sunshine Beach Village on Duke Street.

Enjoying cooling cross breezes via screened louvre windows, ceiling fans and zoned reverse cycle air-conditioning, the Sunshine Beach Private Oasis’ elevated second storey outlook overlooks the flamboyant red flowers of poinciana trees in the front and rear gardens.  This main area of the ‘Private Oasis’ (upstairs) is home to a large master bedroom with king size bed and adjoining ensuite as well as a second bedroom with queen size bed, a large main bathroom with bath, shower and European laundry facilities and a separate powder room/toilet.

The Area

Located on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast 130km north of Brisbane, Sunshine Beach is renowned for its sand, surf and the ambience of the Sunshine Beach Village on Duke Street. A 600m stroll from the ‘Private Oasis’ and set beneath a canopy of green trees and pandanus palms, the Sunshine Beach Village features stylish boutiques, restaurants, cafés and bars as well as a hairdresser, surf store, homewares and gift stores, pilates and yoga studio and a boutique bottle shop. Across the road from the Village is the recently renovated award-winning Sunshine Beach Surf Club which offers impressive and uninterrupted ocean views, perfect for spotting the humpback whales passing from June to October.

Via a bird nature reserve, the ‘Private Oasis’ is a mere 350m from the white sands and pristine waters of Sunshine Beach, which is patrolled year-round. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the stunning clifftop views of the Noosa National Park Headland, Coral Sea and 15km of uninterrupted beach from the top of the ‘Sunshine Beach stairs’ at the northern end of the beach, also known as the ‘Stairway to Heaven’. From here many continue to walk through the Noosa National Park and around the headland to Noosa Heads via Hell’s Gates for stunning coastal views (approximately 2.5 hours).

Noosa is recognised as a UNESCO biosphere reserve, this chic coastal town is surrounded by bay, beach, National Park and river. Visitors to Noosa love to swim at Noosa Main Beach (approx 3.5km from the ‘Private Oasis’), surf the Noosa World Surfing Reserve, walk the Noosa National Park’s stunning forest and coastal trails or picnic as the sun sets over the hinterland behind the river mouth. Home to iconic Hastings Street which is famous for its shopping and dining, Noosa’s main beach is lined with restaurants, cafes, bars and an eclectic array of boutiques, homeware stores, galleries, and surf stores.

Noosa Junction or as it is affectionately known by locals, ‘The Junga’ (approx 2km from the ‘Private Oasis’) is a buzzing little village just over the hill from Hastings Street, ‘The Junga’ is home to a wonderful world of bars, restaurants, live music, coffee shops, fashion boutiques, laneways, night markets, street art and photo galleries.

Noosaville (approx 6km from the ‘Private Oasis’) is known for its laidback vibe, gorgeous water views, shady trees, picnic spots, family-friendly river hire businesses, ‘Pirate Playground’, boutique stores and myriad restaurants, cafes and bars dotted along its 2km of grassy foreshore and is only a short drive or ferry ride from Noosa’s main beach and iconic Hastings Street.

Inland from Noosa and popular for day trips is the Hinterland where green valleys are dotted with cafes, galleries, vintage stores, markets and historic pubs. Known for their incredible natural beauty, the Noosa Hinterland is comprised of country towns including Eumundi, Cooroy, Pomona, Kin Kin, Cooran and is also home to the Noosa Everglades. One of only two everglades systems on Earth, the Noosa Everglades is a 60km stretch of pristine waters, magnificent flora and fauna and narrow waterways.

Heading south, locals and visitors alike love Peregian Beach for its laidback and chilled beachy vibe and its village square which is home to boutique stores, a host of restaurants, cafes and takeaways set under cool shady trees and its makers’ market held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday morning of each month.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the entire 4 bedroom home, courtyard and gardens throughout their stay.

The garage will be locked and is not available for guest use.

  • The Private Oasis is a Noosa Council approved holiday home. Noosa Council Short Stay Letting approval no: SSL22/2449. All guests who visit Noosa must abide by Noosa Council’s Code of conduct for guest behaviour implemented as a component of the new local law that was enacted on 1st February 2022: https://www.noosa.qld.gov.au/short-stay-letting

  • We do not accept bookings for events including hens/bucks, weddings, birthday parties or other occasions such as schoolies

  • No additional guests other than those included in the booking are permitted
  • In order to maintain respectful relationships with neighbours we ask that all guests move indoors after 9pm. Strictly no loud/offensive music or behaviour is permitted at any time
  • Check in from 3pm
  • Check out before 10am
  • Strictly no smoking is permitted within the home. Smoking is permitted in the driveway of the home only.
  • Sunshine Beach Private Oasis is not pet friendly
  • A $500 refundable security deposit applies to all bookings and is payable either via credit card hold or bank transfer
