About Riverfront Villa

Conveniently positioned mid-way between iconic Hastings Street and Noosaville’s Gympie Terrace, ‘Riverfront Villa’ is a luxuriously furnished, two bedroom waterfront holiday home with a swimming pool which showcases stunning views over Noosa Sound and beyond.  

With an open plan design, the upper level of the villa flows onto the north facing timber decked balcony which overlooks the river and sandy beach just footsteps away. Set below a raked ceiling, the air-conditioned kitchen, living and dining area is spacious, light filled and enjoys day long sunshine and cooling river breezes.

For those who love to cook, the villa’s kitchen is large, modern and fully equipped. Featuring an electric oven, ceramic cooktop, Nespresso pod style coffee machine, large fridge, integrated water filter, brand new dishwasher and a Weber Q BBQ on the balcony,  it’s stocked with all the essentials you could need to cook up a storm!

Don’t want to cook? No worries, stroll across the bridge to fine dining at Ricky’s River Bar and Restaurant, Rock Salt or The Noosa Nosherie at Quamby Place, or from here, catch the Noosa River Ferry to Hastings Street or Noosaville to explore an abundance of other dining options catering to all tastes and budgets.

Downstairs, the light filled master king bedroom with adjoining ensuite and the villa’s second bedroom with two king single beds, both open to a private courtyard garden with comfy lounge seating. Both large bedrooms feature high quality linen, roller blinds, split system air-conditioning, ceiling fans and security screen doors to capture the river breezes, ensuring our guests’ comfort even on the warmest Queensland days.

The Villa’s second bathroom (downstairs) features a bath with shower above, toilet + European style laundry including both a washing machine and clothes dryer with full size clothes line in the courtyard.

Beyond the secure courtyard and overlooking the river is the complex’s recently refurbished communal swimming pool and outdoor shower (shared with the complex’s 3 other villas) and a large grassed area that leads onto a sandy beach where guests can lounge in the sun, play in the sand or swim in the river.

With families in mind ‘Riverfront Villa’ has a Netflix enabled TV in the main living room and is located just over the bridge from the children’s playground at the Sound Park (next to Quamby Place) and not too far from Noosaville’s renowned ‘Pirate Playground’.

The Area

Noosa is recognised as a UNESCO biosphere reserve, this chic coastal town is surrounded by bay, beach, National Park and river. Visitors to Noosa love to swim at Noosa Main Beach (approx. 1km from  ‘Riverfront Villa’), surf the Noosa World Surfing Reserve, walk the Noosa National Park’s stunning forest and coastal trails and picnic as the sun sets over the hinterland behind the river mouth. Home to iconic Hastings Street which is famous for its shopping and dining, Noosa’s main beach is lined with restaurants, cafes, bars and an eclectic array of boutiques, homeware stores, galleries, and surf stores.

In the opposite direction to Hastings Street, Noosaville (approx. 1.5km from ‘Riverfront Villa’) is known for its laidback vibe, gorgeous water views, shady trees, picnic spots, family-friendly river hire businesses, ‘Pirate Playground’, boutique stores and myriad restaurants, cafes and bars dotted along its 2km of grassy foreshore and is only a short walk, drive or ferry ride from your doorstep.

Sunshine Beach (approx. 6km from ‘Riverfront Villa’) is renowned for its sand, surf and the ambience of the Sunshine Beach Village on Duke Street. Set beneath a canopy of green trees and pandanus palms, the Sunshine Beach Village features stylish boutiques, restaurants, cafés and bars as well as a hairdresser, surf store, homewares and gift stores, pilates and yoga studio and a boutique bottle shop. Across the road from the Village is the recently renovated award-winning Sunshine Beach Surf Club which offers impressive and uninterrupted ocean views, perfect for spotting the humpback whales passing from June to October.

Noosa Junction or as it is affectionately known by locals, ‘The Junga’ (approx 4km from the ‘Riverfront Villa’) is a buzzing little village just over the hill from Hastings Street, ‘The Junga’ is home to a wonderful world of bars, restaurants, live music, coffee shops, fashion boutiques, laneways, night markets, street art and photo galleries and is many locals’ destination when dining out in Noosa.

Heading south, locals and visitors alike love Peregian Beach for its laidback and chilled beachy vibe and its village square which is home to boutique stores, a host of restaurants, cafes and takeaways set under cool shady trees and its makers’ market held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday morning of each month.

A little further south, Coolum Beach is a laid-back, friendly beachside town fronted by a large grassy beachfront park, playground and skate park, backed by a shopping and entertainment strip featuring a range of dining and casual eateries including the ever popular Surf Club and Coolum Beach Hotel.

Caloundra, the southern-most town of the Sunshine Coast is made up of 7 beaches; Golden Beach, Bulcock Beach, Kings Beach, Shelly Beach, Moffat beach, Dicky Beach and Currimundi which are connected by a coastal boardwalk. The once sleepy beach town is now home to a bustling strip of cafés, restaurants and bars, year round street markets and a vibrant arts community but it still maintains its small town, coastal charm.

Inland from Noosa and popular for day trips is the Hinterland where green valleys are dotted with cafes, galleries, vintage stores, markets and historic pubs. Known for their incredible natural beauty, the Noosa Hinterland is comprised of country towns including Eumundi, Cooroy, Pomona, Kin Kin, Cooran and is also home to the Noosa Everglades. One of only two everglades systems on Earth, the Noosa Everglades is a 60km stretch of pristine waters, magnificent flora and fauna and narrow waterways.

Guest Access

  • Guests will have exclusive access to the entire two storey villa throughout their stay
  • The communal pool has shared use between residents/guests of the 4 Villa complex
  • The downstairs linen cupboard will be locked and is not available for guest use

Important Things To Note

  • ‘Riverfront Villa’ is a Noosa Council approved holiday home. Noosa Council Short Stay Letting approval no: SSL22/0204. All guests who visit Noosa must abide by Noosa Council’s Code of conduct for guest behaviour implemented as a component of the new local law that was enacted on 1st February 2022 https://www.noosa.qld.gov.au/short-stay-letting
  • Our Villa is one of four in the boutique Villa Marina Complex. The swimming pool is communal and shared between residents and guests of the four villas
  • Swimming pool is available for guest use between 8am – 8pm daily. Children under 14 years of age must be supervised by an adult at all times
  • We do not accept bookings for events including hens/bucks, weddings, birthday parties or other occasions such as schoolies
  • No additional guests other than those included in the booking are permitted
  • In order to maintain respectful relationships with neighbours we ask that all guests move indoors after 9pm. Strictly no loud/offensive music or behaviour is permitted at any time
  • Riverfront Villa is not pet friendly
  • To comply with building by laws, smoking is not permitted within the Villa Marina complex under any circumstances (including our villa, the driveway or pool area).  If you are a smoker we ask that you smoke on the street or the grassed area near the river and that cigarette butts are extinguished and disposed of responsibly
  • A 3 night minimum stay applies, we do not accept 2 night bookings
  • Check in from 3pm
  • Check out before 10am
  • A $500 refundable security deposit applies to all bookings and is payable either via credit card hold or bank transfer prior to arrival

  • Please note: Riverfront Villa does not have on-site guest car parking. There is however ample street parking outside the villa, on Noosa Parade
  • This is a two storey Villa (must climb stairs) / downstairs area is wheelchair accessible only and the main bathroom’s shower is above the bath which may not be suitable for some guests with mobility issues
  • As well as internal stairs the Villa features a spiral staircase that connects the decked balcony to the garden courtyard below. Families with infants/young children may wish to consider hiring stair guards. We can put you in touch with local holiday hire companies if needed.

I don’t know what I like most about Riverfront Villa; it’s proximity to both Hastings St/Noosa main beach and Gympie Terrace, it’s sundrenched north facing living area, balcony and private courtyard or its owners’ exquisite taste with their high end furnishing and décor selections! Regardless, Riverfront Villa is a premium accommodation offering ideal for singles, couples, small groups and families and I’m delighted to share it with Noosa holiday makers.
