Unhappy with the product and service offerings of local managing agents, ellecor’s Director, Lauren created ellecor Holiday Home Management whilst working a real estate day job soon after purchasing her Noosa holiday home back in 2014. Lauren’s aim was and still is simple … to provide the care and attention that she devotes to her own home and guests to each and every home that ellecor manages. For this reason ellecor has a boutique business model, we are strongly committed to managing only a small number of holiday homes on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and managing them really well! With a twist on the Spanish phrase ‘Mi casa es su casa’ which translates to ‘my home is your home’, at ellecor we live the ethos that ‘Su casa es neustra casa’ … your home is our home!

In order to deliver our renowned 5 star service and maintain each of our homes to the highest possible standard, ellecor’s team are skilled, reliable, knowledgeable, licensed (where applicable) and always local. The majority of our team, including our professional cleaners, have worked with ellecor since day dot.

Our personal touch

ellecor’s owners have peace of mind knowing that every guest booking is vetted by our experienced team to ensure each guest’s suitability to our homes. If we’re not satisfied we’ve found a good fit we don’t accept the booking, simple. We require all guests to complete an online check in via Resly, our property management software and we obtain each guest’s ID documentation as well as credit card details for the rare event a security deposit claim arises. Guests who book with ellecor are guaranteed a memorable, seamless and hassle free travel experience. We provide personalised service to all guests before, during and after every single stay.

How are we are able to deliver this level of service?  Easy! Our deliberately small portfolio means our knowledgeable team are able to devote both time and expertise to every booking request we receive.

More than just ‘set and forget’

We work hard behind the scenes every single week proactively managing each of our properties’ online listings to maximise return on investment for our owners. Factoring in market trends, seasonality and local events we utilise ‘dynamic pricing’ strategies and create targeted special offers via our social media channels and website. This optimises each of our homes’ online visibility and ensures demand for our properties is always high with the goal of achieving the best possible results for our owners.

Guest vetting and support

In order to best control the guests who book our homes, ellecor employ a number of strategies to vet each and every guest; we do not utilise an ‘instant book’ functionality on any online platforms, opting instead to communicate with guests about their group and nature of their stay before accepting each booking. We also only accept guests who agree to our Terms and Conditions, provide Government ID and where possible, those with a history of positive reviews. 

ellecor proudly provides prompt and personalised service to every single one of our guests before, during and after their stay.  In addition, we create a customised property manual for each of our homes which contains information and instructions to assist our guests navigate our homes and we also include tips on where to dine, local business insights, guest activities and tourist attractions.

The guest ‘wow factor’

At ellecor we strive to achieve the ‘wow factor’ when each of our guests check in. What is this you might ask? We refer to it in-house as ‘care factor’. First impressions count and we want our guests’ first impressions to be good ones so it’s not uncommon for our committed team of cleaners to put some fresh greenery in a vase, display some local brochures or magazines on a side table, select some age appropriate toys to leave out in a children’s room or turn on a lamp, soft music or an oil diffuser ahead of our guests’ arrival.  We want our guests to walk into our homes and say ‘Wow!’

Property Management Software

ellecor uses Resly as its back end property management system which streamlines our business through automation. Resly’s software allows us more time to actively manage and market our properties with a view to achieving the highest possible occupancy rates for our owners. To ensure we continue to deliver the 5 star service ellecor is renowned for, we maintain a balance between automation and personalised service!

ellecor’s owners have access to Resly’s secure ‘owner portal’ where they can quickly and easily track their property’s success including; accessing statements and invoices, obtaining details of guest bookings as well as making ‘owner stay’ bookings.

REIQ licensed agent

Lauren, ellecor’s director is an REIQ licensed real estate agent and operates a real estate agency statutory trust bank account. Anyone can manage your investment property’s Airbnb listing … but by using a licensed real estate agent you have peace of mind knowing that ellecor understand the law as it pertains to rental properties, we will vet all booking enquiries selecting only the best guests for your home, we’ll manage disputes and security deposit claims on your behalf and will ALWAYS work to achieve the best possible returns on your investment.

Via ellecor’s website we offer a direct booking option which eliminates 3rd party platform booking fees for both guests and owners, while also providing greater control over the security deposit amount charged to guests
